BLACKPINK Rose is looking forward to meeting the fans again.
Rose and her girl group have not seen their fans in person again since the COVID-19 restricts concerts. As the new normal began, she expressed her hopes to perform again soon.
BLINKs have been dying to hear new music from them, as well, as the last time they dropped a project was when they released their hit Korean studio album, The Album, and its title track, Lovesick Girls.
For now, the K-pop star gives fans more gifts by doing song covers while waiting for a chance to perform on stage again.
Rose Says She Wants To Perform On Stage Again
Rose recently graced the pages and cover of Elle for the magazine’s June issue. She posed while flaunting jewelry from Tiffany & Co., where she serves as a brand ambassador.
During the interview with the magazine, she shared an update about her life and how she has been living her life to the fullest.
Despite that, the On The Ground hitmaker said that she misses performing on stage already.
“I’m so excited to think about the day when I can perform again with our fans in front of me. I feel like I’m waiting for my birthday, that’s just around the corner. I think I’ll be able to know the preciousness of the stage and work harder,” she said.
Rose Earns Praise for Her Song Covers
Amid her skyrocketing fame with the group and as a soloist, Rose also spends her time doing solo covers. For this year, she has already uploaded three songs on her YouTube channel.
“I chose songs that I’m happy to hear or lifts my mood when I listen to them. I enjoy the process of depicting how I can sing the song and materializing the sounds, but at the same time, I’m also trying to be open to new possibilities,” she added.
The K-pop star also became the subject of headlines when she constantly released song covers last year. Among the pieces that garnered attention include Cautious Clay’s Wildfire, Alicia Keys’ If I Ain’t Got You, Paramore’s The Only Exception, and The Killer’s Read My Mind.
Fans can expect more from her as the K-pop idol is yet to announce her solo or group’s comeback this year.
